Our Story

12 Corners Nursery was established in 1989 by Robert H. Lee.  His dream was to create a unique setting that had a park-like feel.  The name 12 Corners came from an old church site that was located on land Mr. Lee owned at the time.  Current owner, Clay Humphrys, started working for Mr. Lee in the summer of 1998. Mr. Humphrys attained a degree in Agriculture with an emphasis in Horticulture from Western Kentucky in 2005.  He returned to his hometown of Gallatin in Christmas of 2008 from Owensboro, Kentucky where he had been living and building his experience in the Green Industry. He started and managed a landscape company before fulfilling his dream of purchasing 12 Corners Nursery in the fall of 2014.  He and his wife, Courtney, are honored to be carrying on much of the same dream that was started in 1989. They enjoy serving Gallatin and the surrounding areas by providing local products from small businesses in Tennessee.
